Triple Threat is all about team work;
strategise, send and suffer your way to success.
In a mix-gendered team of three, you’ll be competing in one of three categories: Tag Team, Sufferfest, or Tri-Hard. The competition will run between 12pm and 5pm on Saturday the 13th of June at 9dC and we’ll have a social session afterwards with pizza, drinks, door prizes and podiums.

All team members must top a boulder for it to count towards your score

1 top = 1 point, regardless of grade
1 bonus point awarded if all team members top the same climb
Triple Threat beta & rules:
teams will be provided with a score card and pen on competition day
in Tag Team and Tri-Hard, all climbs will have their point value tagged on the wall
in Sufferfest, all climbs are worth one point, regardless of grade
all climbs may be logged once per team member; repeats do not increase your score
extra points are not awarded for a flash
score cards must be handed in by 5pm
you can attempt multiple categories, but you can only hand in one score sheet

Triple Threat isn’t just about who can send the hardest; it’s about how well you work together. Expect high energy, loud cheering, a bit of shared suffering, and a well deserved refuel and social session afterwards.

Schedule
8am: Doors open. If you’re not competing we’d suggest getting your climb in early before the crowds arrive
11:30am: Score cards will be available at the front desk
12pm: Triple Threat starts
12pm - 5pm: Quali - the team suffering begins. You’ll need to climb, log and hand your score card in within this window
5pm onwards: While staff tally up the score cards we’ll have free drinks and a food truck available for some essential refueling
5:30pm: We’ll announce our winners, draw the raffle and hand out some mega door prizes
You must be present to win a prize, so make sure to stick around!
